Killed: 3/8/1916 on Somme


Robert was born to John & Annie of Jedburgh, Scotland and had 3 brothers & 4 sisters. He was the manager of the Cambrian Mills. He married Elsie of Newtown. He was wounded while being carried by stretcher-bearers - all three were hit by a shell and killed on the Somme. He is commemorated on the Thieprval Memorial and St David's Church.
