Walter Pugh

Birth: 1873
Death: 30/12/1915
Regiment: 1185- 5th battalion Rifle Brigade


Walter was a son of Henry, a hairdresser and Emma (Wyncherley) and had a brother and sister. He lived at 7 Sheaf Street & worked as a weaver. He received head injuries and returned to England to Sheerness Hospital where he took his own life in December, 1915. He was buried in Sheerness Cemetery and is commemorated in St David's Church.
