Edward Gittins

Edward was a blacksmith, lived in Pool Road with his wife, Esther Eliza, and 4 sons, including Albert (previous record), & 2 daughters. He also worked in the RWF.  Following RWF training at Park Hall Camp. He was drafted to france where he was severely injured by a shell. He died in hospital there in December 1916.
